10 Tips for When You Start Planning Your Wedding

Wedding planning can be both an exciting and challenging experience. With proper planning and organization, you can create a memorable day for you and your partner as well as your guests. I would liek to share some basic wedding planning tips and ideas to help you start your wedding planning journey.

Choosing a date early on in the planning process gives you ample time to coordinate vendors and make informed decisions. Ensure that the date aligns with your personal preferences, preferred season, budget, and guest list.


2. Outline a Budget


Determining your budget is crucial for managing spending and making informed decisions when planning your wedding. Stick to your budget and allocate funds for each aspect of your wedding.


3. Consider the Time of Day


Choose a time of day that reflects your and your fiancé's personalities, party style, budget, or guest list. The time of day can also impact the overall atmosphere and vibe of your wedding


4. Wedding Party


You will need to manage your expectations of your wedding party, understanding that everyone has their own lives and responsibilities. Ask for any commitments early on and ensure that your wedding party members are aware of their roles and responsibilities, provide opportunities for them to sign up for tasks, or even decline. This way you are able to prepare.

8. There Is a Groom As Well


Often the wedding day will revolve around the bride. Understandably, the bride has probably dreamed about this day for a long time. Although I did advise you to ask for advice from loved ones, always remeber that at the end of the day, the wedding is for you and your special someone. Always be open-minded but do not ever feel pressured into doing things out of expectations of others. The day needs to be all you and your partner want it to be,a nd that is it.
